The land is the first teacher here.
Before the breath-work, before the conversation, before anything is said — two acres of Ōhau receive you. The Tararua ranges to the east. The Ōhau river close by. Bush, fire circle, garden, long table.
You might arrive carrying the weight of full and busy lives. By the end of a day here, something has shifted — simply because the land holds what we cannot always hold alone.

Men's Retreat
[NEXT RETREAT: Sunday 28th June 2026 - SWEAT LODGE
$50 per man.
Join us this Winter as we journey inside a hand made sweat lodge in the bush by the Ōhau river. No previous experience is needed for what you will encounter.
And, you might already like sauna, steam rooms etc. It will be hot - and there will be space to regularly cool off in the river nearby.
We begin around the fire circle with a check in, and an intention: What are we letting go, grieving, rebirthing?
Then we move into a few rounds inside the lodge - a place where the body can begin to feel and release.
The space will close around the fire circle with a check out. We begin at 3pm, and complete by 8pm.
Please note:
Arrive well hydrated.
Eat light food for breakfast and lunch which will aid the body in the lodge.
If you have heart or respiratory conditions, please let us know.
Set an intention for this process to deepen your experience.

Available for small groups or as an individual booking.
